Issa and I went to Yuba River over Labor Day weekend. In the spirit of my Daily 30, I sketched when I wasnt busy spacing out on redwood trees.
I sketched the quaint small town interior, as were waiting for our take-out at the main restaurant of Sierra City. Then I sketched the post office, while waiting for Issa to get firewood. It’s hard to sketch when the car is moving, but I tried to capture how serene the morning was, as we drove thru the beautifully simple ranches.
This has got me thinking about documenting my travel a bit more by sketching.
